Terms and Conditions:

Booking and Cancellations

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your session, or failure to attend your booking (‘no shows’), will be charged at the full session rate.

  • If we cancel your booking, an alternative date or time will be offered. If a suitable alternative cannot be agreed, a refund will be provided.

  • All cancellations made by us will be communicated directly to the person who made the booking.

  • Bookings must accurately reflect the number of dogs and the chosen time slot. Any changes must be requested via email in advance of your session.

  • It is the client’s responsibility to provide accurate contact information. Missed communications due to incorrect email or phone details are the responsibility of the client.

  • All dogs attending the session must be included in the booking.

    • Additional dogs not declared in advance will be charged at the applicable rate.

    • We reserve the right to apply an additional £5.00 administration fee per unbooked dog.

  • Clients may reschedule their own bookings via their login if the request is made more than 72 hours in advance of the session.

  • Rescheduling within 72 hours must be done via email and is subject to availability and our agreement.

  • Weekend appointments being rescheduled may only be moved to a weekday slot.

  • All communication regarding cancellations or rescheduling must be made via email. We do not accept changes or cancellations through social media.

  • In the event of a booking error or system issue, we reserve the right to amend or reschedule your session. By booking, you agree to a rescheduled session if notified prior to its start time.

  • Well Dog Field is an outdoor facility and may be subject to adverse weather conditions. In cases of extreme weather (heavy rain, storms, flooding), we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule bookings for safety reasons. In such cases, clients will be notified as soon as possible and offered an alternative date or a refund at our discretion.

  • Payment Terms: Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your slot. We accept online payments and PayPal. Failure to pay may result in cancellation of your booking without notice. Late payments or non-payments may incur additional fees or refusal of future bookings.

Safety and Use of the Field

General Use

  • All persons and dogs entering the field do so entirely at their own risk.

  • We are not liable for any accidents, injuries, or negligence resulting from use of the field or its facilities.

  • The field may have uneven ground, mud, or standing water, particularly after heavy rain. Please wear appropriate footwear and exercise caution. Use of the field in adverse conditions is at your own discretion.

  • Playdates or group sessions held at the field are done so at the organiser’s and participants’ own risk.

  • All dogs and owners must behave respectfully and safely at all times. Aggressive, disruptive, or dangerous behaviour from dogs or owners will not be tolerated. Well Dog Field reserves the right to remove any dog or owner from the premises immediately, with no refund, if behaviour is deemed unsafe or inappropriate.

  • In the event of injury or sudden illness of a dog during a session, owners or handlers should contact Well Dog Field staff. Well Dog Field may seek veterinary assistance if necessary; any associated costs are the responsibility of the dog owner.

Arrival & Departure

  • Dogs must remain in your vehicle until the field is ready for your session.

  • A waiting area is available by the first gate entering Little Well House Farm property – please use this space until the previous booking has fully exited.

  • Do not crowd the field gate or boundaries while waiting. This ensures the safety and comfort of all users.

Gates & Access

  • You must securely close the field gate after your session using the provided code.

  • Any breaches or damage to fencing should be reported immediately.

  • You may be held responsible for repair costs for any damage caused to gates, fencing, buildings, or equipment by you or your dog (excluding general wear and tear).

Agility Equipment

  • Agility equipment is for dog use only.

  • Climbing on the gates, fences, or agility equipment is strictly prohibited for all persons, including children.

  • Use of any agility equipment is at your own risk, and we do not accept liability for injuries or misuse.

  • No alterations may be made to the field layout or equipment. Any unauthorised changes may result in a charge for damage.

Monitoring

  • CCTV is in operation for security and safety. By booking, you agree to our use of CCTV on-site.

Liability:

  • Use of Well Dog Field is entirely at your own risk. Well Dog Field, its owners, staff, and affiliates accept no responsibility for injury, loss, or damage to any dog, person, or property while on or around the premises. By booking and entering the field, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Well Dog Field from any claims arising from your use of the facilities.

Time Allocation and Policy

Adherence to Booking Times

  • All field sessions must be pre-booked in advance. Use of the field without a confirmed booking is strictly not permitted and you will be charged for usage.

  • You must adhere strictly to your allocated time slot. If you arrive late, your session will still end at the scheduled time — extra time will not be added.

  • It is your responsibility to be aware of the time and to ensure your session ends promptly.

Arrival and Departure Guidelines

  • Do not arrive more than 5 minutes before your booking.

  • Do not remain on-site or in the field beyond your allocated end time.

  • Dogs must remain in your vehicle until the start of your session.

  • You are responsible for ensuring your dog(s) are back in your vehicle by the end of your booked time.

Parking and Vehicles

Parking Spaces

  • Dog Field 1 parking accommodates up to 3 cars.

  • Dog Fields 2 & 3 parking accommodates up to 6 cars.

  • Parking beyond these limits in the designated areas is not permitted.

Additional Parking

  • Extra parking is available outside the main entrance to the farm, on the left-hand side just before the black electric gate, next to the access lane.

Parking Etiquette and Safety

  • Please ensure vehicles are not parked blocking roads, gates, or entrances.

  • If you arrive early and are waiting for your session, please wait in the designated parking area before the first (main electric) gate.

  • When it is your allocated time, do not remain parked in the waiting area if there is space to park directly in front of the dog field access gate.

  • Do not cause any blockage to access routes at any time.

Vehicle and Dog Safety

  • Do not leave dogs unattended in parked cars, especially during hot weather

  • Vehicles and any belongings left inside are parked at your own risk. Well Dog Field accepts no responsibility for damage, theft, or loss.

Access Road

  • Access to Well Dog Field is via a private, unmade road.

  • Please drive slowly and carefully, adhering to a maximum speed of 10 MPH.

  • Use of this road is at your own risk, and Well Dog Field accepts no liability for incidents occurring on the access road.

Supervision

  • As the owner or handler, you are responsible for your dog(s) at all times while on the field.

  • All dogs must be supervised continuously by their owner or handler.

  • Dogs and children should never be left unattended on the field.

  • Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.

  • Our fences are 6 feet high. If your dog manages to breach the boundaries, Well Dog Field cannot be held responsible for any consequences.

Cleanliness

  • Well Dog Field operates a strict ‘scoop your own poop’ policy — all dog waste must be picked up promptly.

  • Please leave the dog fields clean and tidy after use.

  • Smoking is prohibited anywhere on the premises. Cigarette butts or remains are harmful to dogs and constitute a clear breach of this policy.

  • If your dog digs holes, you are responsible for refilling them as best as possible to maintain safety for all users.

  • Bins are provided for dog waste and general rubbish—please use them.

  • You must tidy up all dog hair and grooming debris, removing all evidence before leaving.

  • Dog waste must be collected and disposed of within your booked time slot using the bins on-site.

  • Do not leave broken toys or equipment on the field; dispose of any damaged items in the bins provided.

  • Freshwater is available for rinsing dogs or cleaning outerwear if needed.

  • If your dog becomes unwell on the field, it is your responsibility to clean up or contact us if you require assistance.

  • Please ensure you dispose of all rubbish and litter and leave the field and seating areas as clean as you found them.

Dog Health

  • All dogs using Well Dog Field must be fully immunised and up to date with vaccinations.

  • You are responsible for ensuring your dog is current with worming and flea treatments.

  • Dogs that have shown signs of Kennel Cough, sickness, or diarrhoea within the past 48 hours should not be brought to the field.

  • Any dog displaying symptoms of Kennel Cough, sickness, or diarrhoea during a session will be asked to leave immediately, with no refund provided for unused time.

  • Well Dog Field accepts no liability for any illness or injury contracted by dogs or people while using the facilities.

  • If your dog becomes unwell on-site, it is your responsibility to clean up promptly or contact us if you require assistance.

XL Bullies & Controlled Breeds

  • The handler-to-dog ratio for XL Bullies must be 1:1 — one handler per dog at all times.

  • All XL Bullies must be neutered in accordance with legal requirements.

  • Dogs must be microchipped, and owners must provide evidence of neutering and microchipping via email prior to use.

  • All XL Bullies must have valid insurance, including third-party liability coverage.

  • XL Bullies must be kept on lead and muzzled until fully inside the dog field with the gate securely closed.

  • When exiting, XL Bullies must be placed back on lead and muzzled before the gate is opened.

  • Any XL Bully attending must be registered with the Index of Exempted Dogs (IED).

  • No XL Bully meet-ups or gatherings are permitted on site. If such gatherings occur, all participants will be asked to leave immediately, and a £60 surcharge will be applied to the booking holder.

Other Terms

  • We operate a three-strike policy and reserve the right to refuse entry or admission if deemed necessary.

  • Owners and staff of Well Dog Field have the right to access the field at any time to carry out inspections or maintenance.

  • No high-flying objects (e.g., drones, balloons) are permitted without written consent from both Well Dog Field and the Civil Aviation Authority.

  • Smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere on the premises.

  • Disposable barbecues are not allowed on site.

  • Loud music that can be heard by neighbouring houses is not permitted.

  • Occasionally, personnel may be working on the Little Wellhouse Farm property (e.g., gardening). Dog owners must inform us if their dog is reactive so we can manage the situation appropriately.

  • Food deliveries to Well Dog Field are not permitted.

  • By attending Open Days or Social Events at Well Dog Field, you agree that your dog is friendly and sociable with other dogs.

  • Photography and Media: by using Well Dog Field, you consent to photos and videos of your dog(s) that are sent to us to be used professionally such as marketing, and social media purposes.

  • No outside photography and media that is intended for public viewing is permitted unless their is prior agreement with Well Dog Field.

  • We take your privacy seriously. Personal data collected during the booking process will be stored securely and used only for purposes related to your booking and communication. We will not share your data with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

All terms and conditions are accepted upon booking with Well Dog Field.
